Actual Japanese Haori, from Japan

While working at a ryokan with onsen (hot spring) in Japan some years ago, I was gifted this traditional haori! I am SUCH a Japanese freak, and I was super excited about it! I mean, its SLEVEES are POCKETS??? 🤩🤩🤩 However, I just don't use it outside of Japan, so I thought someone else might find this light spring, summer, and early autumn jacket a treat 🥰 It has some small holes on the side, which could easily be sewn, but I'm a lazy bish 🤷‍♀️ I'm a sice 8-10 but as haoris are usually oversize, I'd say it fits up to a 12. What's a haori, you ask? Wikipedia knows: a traditional Japanese jacket worn over a kimono. Resembling a shortened kimono with no overlapping front panels (okumi), the haori typically features a thinner collar than that of a kimono, and is sewn with the addition of two thin, triangular panels at either side seam. The haori is usually tied at the front with two short cords, known as haori himo, which attach to small loops sewn inside the garment 👘
